I thought I was on the road to recovery.
I re-aggravated my upper hip/hamstring area again.
Hurts all the time, sleep, sitting, walking or running.
Feels like it's a nerve problem as well as muscular.
I've been having this pain since 2000, but it' is at it's all time worse right now.
Every step of every race I have run since 2000 hurts.
I think that is why I seem to be so strong in ultra's. You can only hurt so much!!!!!!!
I pretty bummed. Confidence is not high when you can't train the way you want to.
I pray I get better soon. I need to run.

Amazing you can run like you do with that pain - you are one tough hombre !! You STILL got 90 miles in this week... fantastic.
I tripped on a root between Boston Store and Pine Lane on Sunday - ugh. Scraped up my right elbow and ripped a hole in my brand new Nike Pro long sleeve compression shirt, but luckily no real damage like you had. Hope you feel better soon.
I see you are now signed up to defend your BR100 title. I'll be there and if I get a chance, I'll say 'hey' and 'good luck' on Friday night at the pasta dinner.
Dick's got a Foam Roller for $26. Dr. Shah (RunDoc) had me get one. I had quad pain for months and it was gone quick. There's a video with it. Athlete's Performance trains all the best in pro sports.
