Training Week June 16 - June 22

Monday:
My Birthday: 38, starting to feel old and NO I did NOT run 38 miles on my birthday.
8 Miles a.m.
8 Miles p.m.
Both runs Downtown Cleveland.
Day Total: 16 Miles

Tuesday:
8 Miles a.m. Downtown Cleveland.

Track Workout: Solon Track
4 Miles p.m. Warm-up on the track followed by 4 x 100m stride outs.
3 x 1 Mile with 400m recovery.
5:25, 5:25, 5:27, felt bad, started to rain and my hamstrings/hip started to really hurt.
4 Mile Cool-down.
Day Total: 20 Miles

Wednesday:
8 Mile a.m.
8 Miles p.m.
Downtown Cleveland.
Day Total: 16 Miles

Thursday:
10 Mile a.m. Tempo run at 6 min pace. Felt the heat.
8 Miles p.m.
Downtown Cleveland.
Day Total: 18 Miles

Friday:
8 Mile a.m.
Off Miles p.m.
Downtown Cleveland.
Day Total: 8 Miles

Saturday:
Off a.m. Travel [Flew into Sacramento]
12 Miles p.m.
Ran on the Western States Trail. Hitting Michigan Bluff area then around the finish.
Day Total: 12 Miles

Sunday:
Slept in my car. Woke up to fires in the Forest Hill area.
Stopped and looked at an overview and it did not look good.
5 Miles a.m.
8 Miles p.m. in Reno with Wayne & Steve.
Day Total: 13 Miles

Week Total: 103 Miles
